2. What Data We Collect

Account & order data — Name, work email, company name, website URL, billing address, and payment method (processed by Stripe — we never store card details).
Product & brand data — Product names, descriptions, label images, and brand documents you upload to enable Blueprint generation.
Usage data — Pages visited, features used, session duration, and interaction events — collected via first-party analytics and, where consented, Google Analytics.
Communications — Emails, support messages, and newsletter subscriptions you initiate.
Cookies & local storage — See Section 5 for full details.

3. How We Use Your Data

Deliver your Blueprint — We use your product and brand data to generate your Market Expansion Blueprint. This data is processed by AI models under strict data processing agreements and is not used to train any models.
Account management — To create and maintain your account, process payments, and send transactional emails (order confirmations, report delivery notifications).
Service improvement — Aggregated, anonymised usage data helps us improve report quality and platform features. No individual-level profiling is used for this purpose.
Marketing communications — With your explicit consent, we send the weekly market intelligence newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
Legal obligations — To comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

Contract performance — Processing necessary to deliver the Blueprint you purchased.
Legitimate interests — Fraud prevention, platform security, and aggregated analytics — where these do not override your interests.
Consent — Newsletter subscriptions and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Legal obligation — Tax records, regulatory compliance, and response to lawful authority requests.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

Essential (always active) — Session authentication, CSRF protection, theme preference (dark/light mode), and cookie consent choice. These cannot be disabled without breaking core site functionality.
Analytics (with consent) — Google Analytics 4 — anonymised page view and event data. IP addresses are anonymised. Activated only when you choose "Accept all" on the cookie banner.
How to manage — Change your preference at any time by clearing local storage for nutri.markets, or contact us. Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies in their settings.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

Stripe — Payment processing, governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
OpenRouter — AI-powered report generation via OpenRouter under strict data processing agreements. Your data is not used to train models.
Telnyx / Resend — SMS and email delivery for notifications where applicable.
Google Analytics — Only if you have given analytics consent (see Section 5).
Legal authorities — Where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

7. International Transfers

Some service providers (including AI model providers and analytics tools) are based outside the UK/EEA. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or equivalent safeguards.

8. Data Retention

Account data — Retained for the duration of your account plus 7 years (UK tax law requirement).
Blueprint content — Blueprint reports and uploaded brand documents are retained for 3 years after delivery, then permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion.
Analytics data — Aggregated analytics retained for 26 months per Google Analytics defaults.
Newsletter — Retained until you unsubscribe, after which we retain only a suppression record to honour your preference.

9. Your Rights

Under UK GDPR and equivalent legislation, you have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
Portability — Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection — Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Withdraw consent — For consent-based processing (newsletter, analytics cookies) at any time.

To exercise any right, email privacy@nutri.markets. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure — if you suspect a breach, contact security@nutri.markets immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
